Day 1: Discovering the Sacred Valley
We will begin the day by visiting two jewels of the Sacred Valley: Pisac and Ollantaytambo. In Pisac, you will tour its fascinating artisan market and agricultural terraces, exploring the architectural ingenuity of the Incas. Then, we will head to the majestic fortress of Ollantaytambo, where you can admire the imposing Inca architecture before taking the train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.
Day 2: The Machu Picchu Experience
Early in the morning, we will take the bus that will take us to the citadel of Machu Picchu. With a guided tour, you will discover the secrets and wonders of this sacred site, appreciating the incredible engineering work and spirituality of the Inca civilization. You will have time to explore and marvel at every corner of this unforgettable place before returning to Aguas Calientes and then to Cusco.

Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town)
07:00 – 16:00: Hotel Pick-up – Sacred Valley of the Incas
Our adventure begins at 7:00 a.m. with a pick-up from the hotel, heading towards the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas. Here, you’ll witness the stunning Andean landscapes that follow the course of the Vilcanota River. Our first stop is in Pisac, an ancient archaeological site renowned for its astronomical studies and over 10,000 tombs from pre-Inca and Inca cultures.
We’ll then continue to Urubamba, where you’ll enjoy a delicious Peruvian lunch. Afterward, we’ll arrive in Ollantaytambo, a “living Inca town” with impressive agricultural terraces and structures built into the mountainsides.
19:00: Train to Aguas Calientes
Around 7:00 p.m., we’ll board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival at approximately 8:30 p.m., our staff will be waiting at the station to accompany you to the hotel and review the details of the following day’s itinerary.
Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
07:00 – 13:00: Breakfast and Guided Visit to Machu Picchu
After breakfast, we’ll take a tourist bus up to Machu Picchu, where a professional guide will lead you through the temples, plazas, stairways, and paths of this magnificent archaeological wonder, including the famous Intihuatana. Following the guided tour, you’ll have free time to explore the site on your own. Before departure, the guide will provide the meeting time and place for the return journey.
13:00 – 21:00: Lunch and Return to Cusco
After descending to Aguas Calientes, you’ll enjoy lunch and then board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco, with an estimated arrival time of 9:00 p.m.

The itinerary may vary depending on train schedules and ticket availability for Machu Picchu. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak season (June – September) or around holidays.
