Our tour begins at 3:30 a.m., with the pick-up of participants at their respective hotels. From there, we will head towards our destination, making a first stop approximately an hour and a half later, at the restaurant in the town of Collca, where a breakfast will be offered accompanied by time to use the toilets. Afterwards, we will continue with the journey, touring the foothills of the lagoon for two hours until we reach the district of Layo. At this point, we will have the opportunity to take photographs and learn about the importance of trout in these communities, especially in the Languí-Layo region, where it is the main local product.
Just 15 minutes away, we will arrive at the bus station, from where we will begin a walk towards our objective. The route is extremely panoramic, allowing us to enjoy an incomparable natural environment.
The hike, which lasts approximately one hour, will take us to the summit known as Condor Sayana (4,850 masl), from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the districts of Layo and Languí, their surrounding communities and the imposing mountain range of the Three Canyons of Suykutambo, in the province of Espinar. After capturing some photos at this point, we will continue our journey to other important Apus, highlighting the Apu Tacllo, known for its impressive view, where we will take the most representative photograph of the day. It should be noted that this attraction was recently discovered, during the pandemic, by a local inhabitant.
The third attraction on our route is the Pallay Punchu mountain, which is considered the third mountain of colors in the Cusco region, and is part of the geotourism circuit, along with the Vinincunca Mountain and the Palccoyo Mountain Range. This beautiful landscape recently opened to tourism has begun to receive the first visitors to the area.
Once we have finished our visit to this spectacular place, we will slowly return to the bus, capturing the last images of the tour. Afterwards, we will head to a restaurant to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. After lunch, we will begin the return to Cusco, where the experience will culminate in Regocijo Plaza at 6:00 p.m.
