- This tour on ATV is designed for families, groups, friends, etc., who are looking for adventure. Visiting the most typical and traditional places in Cusco, such as the archeological site of Moray and salt mines of Maras. This tour can be combined with the longest zip line of the world (eye of the jaguar)!
NOTE:
– The rainy season lasts from December to April. On some days the sky is still blue and allows a nice bike ride.
The dry season lasts from May to June. The mountains are completely covered with snow and the landscape presents itself in fresh green for beautiful photos.
From July to November the weather is mostly sunny.

Itinerary

Day 1: Full Day
We begin the tour picking you up at your hotel to take a 50 minutes drive to the town of Cruzpata where we will have a safety briefing and 15 minutes practice for our visitors to be ready to ride the quad bikes, the guide will ask to all the visitors if he\she is ready and if the quad bike is working properly to begin with the tour, the visitor will give us the OK, and then we will start the tour riding the quad bikes to the experimental terraces of Moray, after Moray we will continue riding the quads to the Ttiobamba temple, to park the quads there while our transport take us to the salt mines of Maras, on this 15 minutes drive to the salt mines we will see Veronica and Chicon, the two highest snowcap mountains on the surrounding areas, with the companionship of a magical view, nature and local people, then we will return to Cusco finishing the tour at Plateros street.

Sin duda, la mejor manera de ir a visitar Maras y Moray es en cuatrimotos.
Gracias Atv Cusco Adventures on wheels son muy amables y atentos. Nos recogieron en transporte privado y nos llevó al transporte colectivo desde donde salía el tour. Una vez llegamos a las cuatrimotos, el instructor Antony nos enseñó a manejarlas dando varias vueltas en un circuito cerrado y una vez las manejábamos con soltura, salimos camino a Moray.
La experiencia es 100% recomendable. Por lo que conviertes la visita en una aventura.
El tour consiste en ir a Moray, estar ahí una media hora (el instructor te explica brevemente que es Moray) y volver al circuito en cuatrimoto. Después te llevan en coche a las Salineras y un guía te explica el proceso de la producción de la sal.
Una vez terminas en salineras te llevan al zipline que es bastante divertido. Te lanzas por 3 tirolinas y finalizas sobre las 3-4 de la tarde.
