Itinerary of the Tour to Maras Moray:
7:30 – 08:30: Pick-up from your accommodation – Maras and Moray
At 07:30, after enjoying your breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your accommodation to begin an unforgettable adventure. The journey starts with a transfer to Maras, a charming colonial village famous for its historic production of pink salt, one of the four places in the world where this unique mineral is harvested.
Once at Qaqa Wiñay mountain (3,380 meters / 11,080 feet), you’ll discover the innovative techniques of the Incas. Here, you can see over 3,000 salt ponds carved into the rock, a manual extraction system that is still in use today, showcasing the incredible efficiency of Inca methods.
We’ll continue the journey to Moray, a unique archaeological site known for its circular terraces. This complex was used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory, taking advantage of the different microclimates created between the terraces. The precise orientation of each terrace, designed to maximize exposure to the sun and wind, reveals the advanced knowledge the Incas had of nature.
13:30 – 14:00: Return to Cusco
After exploring the iconic sites of Maras and Moray, we’ll begin our return to Cusco, with an estimated arrival at Plaza Regocijo around 14:00.
At the end of this tour, you’ll have the opportunity to continue your adventure by exploring more of Peru’s landscapes and wonders with ATV CUSCO. Get ready for an experience that goes beyond the physical, where history, culture, and excitement come together in a unique way.

Departure from the lodging in the historic center of Cusco. The streets of the city are narrow, an aspect that limits vehicular access to certain places; in this case the guide will suggest a nearby point to pass looking for you and enjoy the tour.
Return to Plaza “Regocijo” (One block away from the Plaza de Armas in Cusco) (Historic Center of the city).
