The sacred valley Tour opens up 10 miles north of Cusco, sprawling far into the surrounding mountains with the powerful Urubamba River cutting through its central plain.

Several traditional villages dot the landscape, and a handful of treasured Inca ruins sit nestled within the sacred valley’s winding hills. The main attractions here include the towns and corresponding ruin sites of Pisac, Chinchero and Ollantaytambo. From tours of the Inca ruins and outdoor adventure-sport activities to shopping in artisan markets and indigenous cultural immersion, the Sacred Valley Tour offers a range of pursuits.

Detailed itinerary of the VIP Valley Tour (Sacred Valley + Maras – Moray):
06:45 am – Hotel Pickup
Our transfer team or guide will pick you up from your hotel at 6:45 a.m. to begin this exciting journey.
07:30 am – Chinchero: Encounter with Living Culture
We will head north, and in approximately 40 minutes, we will arrive at the archeological center of Chinchero, a living city that preserves the original Inca design and is located in a significant agricultural area. Here, the colonial church and tower stand on ancient Inca temples. You will have the opportunity to appreciate local craftsmanship, including textiles made using ancestral techniques.
09:00 am – Moray: Inca Agricultural Experimentation
Our next stop will be in the Moray area, where we will discover a system of circular terraces built to take advantage of microclimate differences. These terraces were used for Inca agricultural experiments, such as plant domestication, acclimatization, and hybridization.
10:30 am – Maras Salt Pans: Salt Treasure
We will continue to the Maras Salt mines, a complex of over 3,000 shallow pools owned by nearly 380 local families. These pools are filled with saltwater flowing from natural springs in the hill called Qoripukiu (Golden Fountain). You will witness the tradition of salt extraction dating back to pre-Inca times.
12:00 pm – Lunch in Urubamba
After the morning exploration, we will enjoy a delicious lunch in Urubamba to recharge.
02:00 pm – Ollantaytambo: Multifunctional Center
We will continue the journey by bus for 30 minutes to reach the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo. This place had various uses in Inca times, serving as an administrative, military, social, and economic center. It also acted as a control point in the interaction of different ecological zones.
04:00 pm – Pisaq: Smart Agriculture and Craft Market
Our final stop will be the archaeological center of Pisaq, famous for its intelligent terrace system and irrigation channels that allowed the cultivation of high-quality maize. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to purchase crafts and ceramics at the Pisaq model market.
