Once you have chosen the shift you want to do the tour (morning or afternoon); We will pass by the group directly to the accommodation for the transfer to the Temple of the Sun or Qorikancha, with its perfectionist and impressive stone construction, its beautiful gardens and fountains. Immediately you discover the diverse historical – cultural and religious sample of the Qorikancha Site Museum, which groups the pre-Inca, Inca and colonial times.
Then, we will continue the tour visiting the Archaeological Complex of Sacsayhuman, which exhibits an architectural work, without intervening the natural, engaging large blocks of stone up to 5 meters high in a construction with wide mythological and cultural significance of the Inca empire. In this place located 3 kilometers from the city center (3,700 masl / 12,139 ft) it offers the unrepeatable panoramic view of the city of Cusco.
To close the tour, you discover the Inca Sanctuary, Q’enqo, whose meaning is labyrinth, where you discover the ruins of the archaeological complex, such as the Intiwatana or Astronomical Observatory, underground galleries and the amphitheater.
The city tour ends at approximately 1:00 p.m. for the morning schedule; or 6:00 p.m. in the afternoon shift.
