Rainbow Mountain on ATV

03:00 to 04:00 am – Pick up from hotel and transfer to the South Valley – Breakfast

The day starts early. We will pick you up at your hotel between 03:20 and 04:00 am to start our journey to the South Valley. During the approximately 1 hour and a half drive, you will enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant, while admiring the stunning views and warm weather that will give you a unique connection with nature.

05:00 to 07:30 am – Transfer to Japura – Start of the ATV adventure

After a revitalizing breakfast, we will continue our journey to Japura, a journey of approximately 1 hour by car. Upon arrival, our guide will provide you with a brief briefing on the use of ATVs. We will start the tour exploring the fascinating landscape of the area, where you will have the opportunity to observe Andean camelids such as llamas and alpacas. After a 1-hour ride, we will arrive at the ATV parking area.

07:30 to 09:30 am – Arrival at the Rainbow Mountain – Return to Japura

From here, we will hike for 35 to 45 minutes until we reach the impressive Rainbow Mountain. If you prefer to avoid the hike, you can rent inline bikes or horses directly from the locals, although this service has an additional cost (approximately 100 soles). At the Rainbow Mountain, you will have time to take photos, record videos, and receive a detailed explanation from our guide about the geological formation and history of the place. Afterwards, we will return to the ATV starting point to continue the journey back to Japura.

10:30 am to 5:00 pm – Return to transport – Lunch and return to Cusco

After finishing the activity at the Rainbow Mountain, we will leave the ATVs and head to a local restaurant where you will enjoy a buffet lunch. After an hour of travel, we will board the transport to return to the city of Cusco, where we will finish the tour around 5:00 pm in the city center, ending at Plaza Regocijo.
